Efstratios Georgoudis

Dr. Efstratios Georgoudis has more than 20 years of experience in management of EU funded projects. He is a European Commission Expert (external) and has been involved in the assessment of multi-million EU projects for the last 15 years, funded by FP7/H2020, ENPI CBC MED, Erasmus+, Eurostars, among others.

 

Efstratios has drafted and managed EU funded projects with a total budget in excess of 50M Euros in the last 8 years alone. He has delivered more than 100 on site seminars worldwide in the area of Project Management and Secure EU funding and his lectures and seminars have been attended by more than 4000 professionals and Project Managers from Universities, SMEs, NGOs, among others.

Dr. Efstratios Georgoudis has graduated from the Engineering Faculty of University of Southampton (UK) with a departmental award (1st Class Degree Holder of the Department of Ship Science, School of Engineering Sciences – 1999). He obtained his PhD in Hydrodynamics in 2003 from the same University.

 

Efstratios is a full member of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA) and a Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.). He is a visiting lecturer at Frederick University since 2006 and has served as Project Manager & technology consultant in private companies for a number of years. He has attended as a participant or speaker numerous important conferences, symposia & workshops organised by MAIIF, EMSA, IMO, among others.

 

Dr. Georgoudis’ research interests & expertise are mainly in the area of Environment, Risk Management,  Research & Innovative Education, among others.
